The Minnesota Vikings head to Seattle to face the Seahawks on "Monday Night Football" in a high stakes NFC matchup. It is expected to be a close, exciting matchup, but Kirk Cousins' record in Monday night games could point to a Seahawks covering the spread as 2.5-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Cousins has often been criticized for not performing in the big moments of his NFL career. While there are arguments for and against this, there is plenty of evidence of him not showing up in the prime time spots on Monday nights, with him losing all seven of his MNF games.

While Cousins has struggled on Monday nights, the Seahawks have not. Seattle owns the winningest record on "Monday Night Football" in the league, with a 25-10 mark, and its most recent win coming against a then-undefeated San Francisco 49ers team in Week 10.

Despite Cousins' struggles in the big moments, he has put together one of the best seasons of his career thus far in 2019. He has completed a career-high 70.6 percent of his passes for 2,756 yards, 21 touchdowns and only three interceptions. However, fumbling continues to be an issue for Cousins, losing five fumbles this season.

We have two strong narratives going head-to-head on Monday night in Week 13, and it will be fun to see how everything shakes out.
