Jameis Winston Injury Update Boosts Week 15 Fantasy Value in Great Matchup Against Lions
By Zach Brunner

After being labeled questionable with a thumb injury early in the week, Jameis Winston has been deemed healthy enough to take the field against the Detroit Lions, giving his fantasy outlook a significant boost.

Jameis Winston Fantasy Outlook in Week 15
Winston has taken some heat for his turnovers this season, which is warranted, but he has been excellent from a fantasy perspective.
Since Week 6, Winston has thrown for at least 300 yards in seven of eight games, including two 400-yard performances. Winston is fantasy's QB6 on the year, despite his 28 turnovers thus far.
Of course, Winston's value takes a bit of a hit with Mike Evans likely being ruled out for the year, but he's still a top-tier QB in Week 15 thanks to a great matchup with the Lions.
Detroit has surrendered the eighth-most points per game to opposing passers, and the Lions rank No. 25 in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA metric.

⬛️ Two TD passes (26) behind Lamar for the league lead
⬛️ Seven yards behind Dak for the top passing spot
⬛️ Leads the NFL in picks (23) by a huge margin

Winston has also been slinging the football at an incredible rate, averaging 41.7 attempts since the Buccaneers' Week 7 bye. Seeing a massive workload against a leaky Lions' secondary, Winston checks in at QB5 in our Week 15 fantasy football rankings.
