We are a quarter of the way through the NBA regular season and we have seen some terrific performances from the rookies. The best of the bunch has been Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant, who has the best odds to win Rookie of the Year, at +110, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Morant was selected No. 2 overall by Memphis in the 2019 NBA Draft as a highly-touted prospect, and he has not disappointed. He missed a few games due to injury, but he is still averaging 19.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game while shooting 42.2 percent from long range. The Grizzlies guard's role continues to grow as well, averaging more minutes and points every month in the league.

Second in odds to win the award at +300 is Zion Williamson, who was drafted No. 1 overall, but has yet to suit up in an actual NBA game as he recovers from a knee injury.

Zion was initially projected to return next week, but it is looking unlikely that will happen, with coach Alvin Gentry saying they are not going to rush him back. Gentry also said that Zion will not be playing in back-to-back games early in his return.

Rounding out the top five in the odds to win NBA Rookie of the Year is Knicks' R.J. Barrett (+450), Heat's Tyler Herro (+900) and Bulls' Coby White (+1200).
