Nick Van Exel is accomplished both as an NBA player and a coach. His efforts were even enough to earn himself a shoutout from Jay-Z on Beyonce's classic single "Crazy in Love."
But quite possibly the most interesting thing about Van Exel has nothing to do with his All-Star appearance in 1998, his work as an assistant coach on the Memphis Grizzlies, or his relationship with Jay-Z. The most interesting thing about Van Exel is that, apparently, he had no idea what an iced coffee was until earlier this week.
Had a ice coffee for the first time yesterday. My new drink.

Looks like Van Exel is "Crazy in Love" with iced coffee.
In fact, Van Exel was so taken by the drink that he's been on a legitimate tweet storm since taking that fateful first sip. He's even gone so far as to call out his friends and family for not introducing him to the drink sooner.

Just wait until he hears about Pumpkin Spice Lattes. His friends and family are in really big trouble if and when that happens.
