The Northern Trust will take place from Aug. 8-11 at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, and there is a star-studded field of golfers, including Tiger Woods, Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler.

While Koepka is the betting favorite, we can't just use the best of the best when building a fantasy golf lineup. With that in mind, here are three golfers to consider for this weekend.

Adam Scott
Adam Scott won this tournament the last time it was held at Liberty National, back in 2013. While he doesn't have any 2019 wins in 15 starts, Scott has finished second twice with six top-10s and nine top-25 finishes. The Australian is fifth in strokes gained approaching the green, 10th around the green, seventh in tee-to-green and fourth in total strokes gained, and he's also played well in the top events in 2019, finishing second at the Memorial Tournament and T-7 at the U.S. Open.

Bryson DeChambeau
Bryson DeChambeau could be a potential dark horse to win this tournament, coming in as the defending champion of The Northern Trust. DeChambeau has five top-5 finishes and eight top-25s (in 18 starts) and could be someone to watch out for. He's the tournament’s youngest winner during the FedExCup era and has made the cut in four of his last five tournaments, including a T-2 at the 3M Open during the first weekend in July.

Dustin Johnson
Dustin Johnson performs well in this tournament. He's a two-time winner of this event (2011 and 2017) and has made the cut in eight of his 10 starts there. In 16 events this season, Johnson has seven top-10 finishes and nine top 25s.He's trending up at this tournament, so having Johnson in your fantasy lineup shouldn't be bad thing.
