Week 2 of the 2020 NFL season was one of the wildest we've ever seen. Injuries ran rampant, and a shocking number of those injuries came to players that make a big impact in fantasy football.

That means there are tons of great waiver wire targets this week. If you have a low waiver priority and are going to miss out on the big-name adds, you've still got some great options though.

With that in mind, here are the top sleeper pickups on the waiver wire heading into Week 3.

1. K.J. Hamler, WR, Denver Broncos (1% Rostered)

Jerry Jeudy may be getting the bulk of the attention with Courtland Sutton done for the season, but he's not the only interesting rookie wideout in the Denver Broncos offense. An intriguing second-round pick, K.J. Hamler averaged 16.9 yards per reception across two seasons at Penn State. He's not a guy you're going to want to put in your starting lineup right away, but it shouldn't take too long before he passes DaeSean Hamilton and Tim Patrick in the pecking order, and he could make a real impact this season.

2. Tre'Quan Smith, WR, New Orleans Saints (15% Rostered)

Tre'Quan Smith's numbers haven't been anything special through two weeks, but there's plenty of room for optimism. While Michael Thomas is on the shelf, he appears to be the New Orleans Saints' top wideout, having led Saints WRs in both targets (7) and snaps (53) in Week 2. He out-snapped Emmanuel Sanders with Thomas playing in Week 1 as well, so his value could also hold solid even when Thomas does return.

3. Dalton Schultz, TE, Dallas Cowboys (3% Rostered)

Dalton Schultz really impressed in Week 2, and with Blake Jarwin done for the season Schultz could maintain some solid fantasy value. Schultz caught 9 passes for 88 yards and 1 touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, and while the entire Dallas offense got a boost from higher-than-usual volume in that shootout, his 10 targets still accounted for a strong 21.3 percent share on Dak Prescott's 47 pass attempts. For context on that target share, only six tight ends posted a mark higher than 21 percent when active in 2019.
