Jason Day ($11,000):
Jason Day hasn't exactly played well lately, missing the cut in three of his last four events. However, if any event is going to get him out of his slump, it's this one. He has finished in the top-five here in four consecutive years and five of the last six. The one year he didn't finish top-five, he finished 11th. It's clear Day loves this event. If that familiarity helps him overcome his recent struggles, he represents some great potential value.
Phil Mickelson ($10,200):
Similar to Day, Phil Mickelson might not be playing his best golf coming into this event, but he has been dominant throughout his career here. He has finished in the top-three here in three consecutive years, including a win in 2019. In his last 10 starts in this event, Mickelson has seven top-10 finishes, five top-five finishes and two wins. You'd be hard pressed to find someone with a better resume than Phil at this event. In somewhat of a weaker field, he could shine once again.
Brandt Snedeker ($9,500):
Brandy Snedeker has missed the cut here the past two years, but he has also won this event twice in the past eight years, plus another top-5 finish. Coming off a T-32 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open, Snedeker's game could be trending up. And coming back to a tournament he has experienced a ton of success at could be the extra bump he needs to put on a better than expected performance.
