ESPN Projections for 2020 NFL Season Will Have Saints Fans Hyped

ESPN has unveiled their simulations and projections for the 2020 NFL season. Their top teams in the AFC come as no surprise — the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.
Projected at the top of the NFC, however, is the New Orleans Saints.

In an interesting quirk, the reigning NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers are one spot ahead of the Saints in the power rankings, though both teams are projected for the same number of wins (10.2). The Saints have a slightly better chance of making the playoffs (83 percent to 81 percent), and ESPN also has the Saints more likely to win the Super Bowl.
In fact, at 13 percent, the Saints are being given the third-best Super Bowl chances in the NFL. After the 49ers in fourth (12 percent) the drop-off is dramatic, to the Dallas Cowboys at just 5 percent.
The Saints haven't lost many key players this offseason, and having Drew Brees at the helm makes them perennial contenders in the NFC.

The Saints have been one of the most consistently impressive teams in the NFL over the past decade, and if these projections are any indication, 2020 is going to be no different.
