Wide receiver DeSean Jackson is in his 14th NFL season, but has shown no signs of slowing down as one of the best deep threats in the league.

It just hasn't worked out for him as a part of the Los Angeles Rams, however, and the two sides have agreed to attempt to find a trade before the deadline passes.

Jackson is averaging an insane 27.6 yards per reception this season and could bring an unexpected explosiveness to a number of different teams. With that being said, here are three of the most likely destinations for Jackson at the NFL Trade Deadline.

DeSean Jackson Trade Rumors

1. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are starting to make some noise in the AFC. They are averaging 25.0 points per game (No. 14 in NFL) despite only posting 228.9 passing yards per game (No. 23 in NFL). That proves that they need some help at the WR position. Outside of Michael Pittman Jr., the Colts have struggled to find a consistent target for quarterback Carson Wentz. Wentz has worked with Jackson before and is averaging 11.5 yards per completion this season. It's clear that he wants to push the ball down the field, but cannot do so with his current WR core. Adding Jackson to the mix would be a cheap way to fix that issue.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

Jackson was nothing short of electric in his time with the Eagles. In fact, he racked up over 6,500 receiving yards and scored 30 touchdowns across his 8 NFL seasons spent with the team. A reunion is definitely in the realm of possibilities here given the team's lack of WR depth. Philadelphia is tied for the third-fewest 40-plus yard passing plays this season (3) and Jackson has posted two plays over 65 yards by himself. His ability to torch an opposing defender at any given time could be exactly what quarterback Jalen Hurts needs to fix his deep ball issues. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Eagles take a chance here.

3. Green Bay Packers

It is obvious that the Green Bay Packers could benefit from acquiring a receiver or two at the trade deadline. They were without their top three options last week due to COVID-19 issues and injuries. The front office has been adamant that it doesn't want to send away top draft capital, though. That is where Jackson fits in. The Rams will be looking to get anything they can for the 34-year-old speedster and he fits the offense in Green Bay. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers throws one of the best deep balls in the entire NFL. The Packers are true Super Bowl contenders and making a move like this only strengthens their chances at coming out on top.
