Collin Morikawa has shown few signs of nerves or intimidation playing in his first British Open. The 2020 PGA Championship winner shot an opening round 3-under to crack the top-10 on the leaderboard Thursday.

Morikawa's odds to win The Open Championship opened at +2700, and moved to +3500. But after carding four birdies and one bogey to shoot 67 in Round 1, Morikawa's odds are climbing.

FanDuel Sportsbook's adjusted Open Championship odds now have Morikawa at +1600 to win, and he'll have an earlier tee-time Friday to make a move at the leaders, Louis Oosthuizen (-6), Jordan Spieth (-5) and Brian Harman (-5).
