Chiefs Could Make NFL History With Super Bowl Win

The Kansas City Chiefs emerged as a dynasty when Patrick Mahomes took over as their starting quarterback in 2018. Since then, they've enjoyed a historic level of success, winning games at a nearly unprecedented rate.
With one more win on Super Bowl Sunday, the Chiefs would join some pretty exclusive company.
The Kansas City Chiefs have won 74 games, including playoffs, since 2018.

They could join the 2003-07 Patriots (77) as the only teams in NFL history to win at least 75 games in a five-year span, with a win tonight. pic.twitter.com/oxx4jgIEwc
Kansas City Chiefs Dynasty
Including playoffs, Kansas City has won 74 games over the past five seasons. If the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, they'll become just the second NFL team ever with 75 wins over a five-year span, joining the New England Patriots dynasty from 2003-2007 (77).
New England won two Super Bowls during that stretch and lost another, which would be Kansas City's record as well with a victory on Sunday. The Chiefs' run is arguably more impressive, however, considering they reached the AFC Championship Game in all five seasons with both of their losses coming in overtime. With better luck, they could have easily made five straight Super Bowls.
If Kansas City wins again on Sunday, it will cement the team's status as a modern-day dynasty with the numbers to back it up. It won't be easy, however, as the Chiefs head into SB 57 as 1.5-point underdogs against the Eagles on FanDuel Sportsbook's Super Bowl odds.
