Calvin Johnson's Latest Tweet Is Giving Lions Fans Hope

Calvin Johnson's issues with the Detroit Lions are well-chronicled at this point. Johnson wants the Ford family to repay the $1.6 million signing bonus that he was forced to give back to the Lions after his retirement, without any stipulations attached.
The two sides failed to make amends before Johnson was inducted into the Hall of Fame this past summer, but his latest tweet has given Lions fans hope.

Johnson tweeted "Back in the Lions Den" on Wednesday evening, which immediately sparked a social media frenzy.
The fact the HOF wideout is comfortable being back in the building is a reason for optimism. It's no secret what Megatron could be there to discuss, so this may mean the two sides are working toward a solution.
It would be a major step in the right direction if Detroit is able to get one of the best players in franchise history around the team again. The insight and knowledge Johnson could pass on to young building blocks like Amon-Ra St. Brown would be invaluable as the Lions work toward playoff contention under this new regime.
