3 Best Prop Bets for Nuggets vs Hornets NBA Game on FanDuel Sportsbook

Nuggets vs Hornets Player Props

1. Nikola Jokic - Points: Over 27.5 (-110)

The reigning league MVP and major contender again with +180 odds to win MVP, Nikola Jokic is averaging 26.3 points and 13.5 rebounds per game. The 7-foot center has eclipsed the prop number in three straight contests, and has a very favorable match-up inside tonight. The Hornets rank in the bottom quartile of defensive efficiency ratings, and center Mason Plumlee has the worst defensive rating of his nine-year career. The Hornets defense has been better in recent weeks, but they still rank among the very worst is allowing second chance points. Hornets PF Montrezl Harrell won't offer enough support either to slow the Nuggets powerful center.

2. Will Barton - Points: Over 13.5 (-106)

If the Hornets put too much effort or double-teams inside to try and slow Jokic, then the kickouts and open shots will be there for Will Barton. The shooting guard is averaging 14.6 points per game, and just scored 18 and 17 points his last two contests including against league-leading Phoenix and the Suns stronger perimeter defenders. Barton also dropped 20 points on the 76ers at Philly two weeks ago - another top 10 defense.

3. LaMelo Ball - Points: Over 21.5 (-104)

The Hornets have won 7-of-8 and LeMelo Ball has scored over his 20 PPG average in 5-of-7. The Hornets point guard and playmaker also chips-in a team-high 7.3 assists per game. He's popped 30+ points in two of the teams last three contests, and Charlotte will count on Ball to play his best ball again as they push for a top-8 spot in the upcoming playoffs.
