The opening week for the 2021-22 NBA season continues with a Friday night showdown between the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers.

Here are three of the best prop bets for this regular season game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Nets vs 76ers Prop Bets Tonight - 10/22/2021

1. James Harden - Points: Over 23.5 (-108)

After averaging over 30 points per game in three straight years, James Harden averaged just 24.6 PPG with the Nets last season. Now, Kyrie Irving is out for the foreseeable future, meaning Harden should see more scoring opportunities this season. Tonight could be the night for it to begin, especially with FanDuel Sportsbook setting the total to 226. The 76ers won't have Ben Simmons to guard the former NBA MVP, who's averaging 25.2 PPG in 19 career games against Philadelphia.

2. Tyrese Maxey - Assists: Over 4.5 (-150)

With Simmons on the sidelines, sophomore Tyrese Maxey has become Philadelphia's No. 1 point guard. He saw more minutes in the season opener (34.0) than he averaged last year (15.3 minutes per game), so his assist totals will likely rise. He finished the first game this year with seven helpers and could have a similar performance if tonight's game turns into a shootout. With a strong post presence like Joel Embiid and talented shooters in Seth Curry, Danny Green and more, Maxey can further establish himself as a legitimate starting point guard if he can continue finding the open man.

3. Blake Griffin - Rebounds: Under 4.5 (-130)

While Blake Griffin was a walking double-double earlier in his career, he averaged just 4.7 rebounds per game after joining the Nets last year. Meanwhile, the 76ers were nearly a top-10 rebounding team last season, averaging 51.3 (T-12th) per contest. Philadelphia also brought in Andre Drummond this offseason, who just had a 17-rebound performance against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday. Combing his rebound skills with Embiid's (10.6 RPG in 2020-21) points to a tough game on the glass for Brooklyn's big men Friday, including Griffin.
