The 2021 NBA season is in full swing. Wednesday's basketball action features a primetime matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns.

Here's three of the best prop bets for Mavericks-Suns, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Mavericks vs Suns Best Prop Bets

1. Jalen Brunson - Points: Under 17.5 (-118)

Jalen Brunson has become the perfect guard to pair with All-Star Luka Doncic on this Dallas Mavericks team, but this number is simply too high. The former Villanova standout has scored 18 or more points just three times all season and has cashed the under on this prop in each of his last five games played. Brunson has gotten to the free throw line just 11 times during that span and is averaging 11.4 attempted field goals per game. That isn't an encouraging amount of volume, especially against a Suns' defense that has posted the third-best defensive efficiency mark in the NBA so far this season. Backing the under is a smart bet here.

2. Devin Booker - Assists: Over 4.5 (-108)

The Suns thrive when Devin Booker is playing clean all-around basketball and that is exactly what has been happening as of late. The All-Star guard's passing abilities have been on full display as he has dished out at least five assists in six of his last seven games. Phoenix plays the the fourth-highest pace in the league and attempts the 11th-most field goals per game in the NBA. That means there will ample opportunities for Booker to find the open man and rack up some assists. Dallas' defense is average at best and is allowing the NBA's 11th-most opponent assists per game (24.2). Trusting Booker is never a bad idea, so bet on the pro to cash this over on Wednesday night.

3. Dorian Finney-Smith - Made Threes: Over 1.5 (-122)

One Dallas role player that has continued to shine this season is sixth-year pro Dorian Finney-Smith. He has turned into a reliable spot-up shooter and is beginning to heat up from beyond the arc. Finney-Smith has hit at least two three-pointers in four of his last five games and now gets to face a Phoenix team that ranks in the middle of the pack when it comes to defending the perimeter. The Suns allow an opponent 3-point percentage of 34.5% (No. 17 in NBA) and just gave up 13 long balls to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Finney-Smith is capable of hitting the over on this prop before halftime assuming he can find a way to get open from deep.
