With the Saints and Panthers surprisingly meeting for the first time this season -- the first of two meetings in the next three weeks -- America should be in for a great game on Monday night. In a game that's likely to be closely contested, with a 6-point spread and a 50-point over/under, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, here are five of the best prop bets to consider in tonight's Week 15 game.
5. Drew Brees 300+ Yards Passing and Saints Win (+170)

Drew Brees lives and breathes 300-yard passing games. In a season that could bring him his first MVP award, this game against the Panthers should be relatively easy for Brees to snag 300 yards and get the win. After a hot start, the Panthers have fallen off the map and now sit at 6-7. With the Saints still playing for home-field advantage in the NFC, it should provide all the motivation they need. Plus, Brees has dominated Carolina in recent history.
4. Christian McCaffrey to Score a Touchdown (-130)

The odds aren't great here, but the way Christian McCaffrey has been playing lately, this seems like some free money waiting to be made. The Panthers' star running back has 12 touchdowns in his last seven games, and has been on an absolute tear during Carolina's five-game losing streak. The Saints defense ranks third against running backs, but McCaffrey has faced tough defenses over the last seven weeks, and he's scored on all of them.
3. Christian McCaffrey to Score 3+ Touchdowns (+3000)

Sticking with McCaffrey here. If you're getting 30-to-1 odds for a guy that's scoring almost 1.5 touchdowns per game over the second half of the season, you consider it. Plus, the running back has already had one three-touchdown game this season. The odds and the ability for this to come to fruition make it a prop bet you just can't ignore.
2. Ian Thomas Over 38.5 Receiving Yards (-102)

Ian Thomas has filled in incredibly for Greg Olsen since the All-Pro tight end went down for the season a few weeks back. Thomas has 14 catches for 123 yards in the last two contests serving as Carolina's No. 1 TE. The Saints do rank fourth against tight ends, but for a guy that's averaging close to double the line since becoming the starter, it shouldn't be an issue.
1. Halftime/Fulltime Result - Panthers/Saints (+650)

Although the Saints are rolling and the Panthers are in a free fall, it's still a huge rivalry game at the end of the season. The Panthers should come out with some pride in the first half and surprise the Saints prior to the half. Despite not playing well, the Panthers still do have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball. Take the Panthers to make some noise and "keep pounding" through the first 30 minutes, then expect Brees to remind everyone why he's an MVP candidate and have a signature comeback for the win in the second half.
