Melvin Gordon has been nursing an MCL sprain over the past two weeks and it's still unknown as to when he'll see the field again. Unfortunately for his fantasy owners, there's a good chance that he misses at least the first round of the fantasy football playoffs.

The Chargers' stud running back stated he has no concrete timetable for his return. As of now, he'll make his decision to play based on how he's feeling physically.

A Week 14 return still isn't likely, but the fact that he isn't limping is an encouraging sign that he'll return sooner rather than later.

Until he gives himself the green light to play, Gordon owners should fire up Justin Jackson and Austin Ekler this weekend. Both will have a ton of upside thanks to a favorable matchup against a Cincinnati Bengals defense that has given up the most fantasy points to running backs this year.
