Kerryon Johnson is undoubtedly one of the most explosive running backs in the NFL and fantasy owners have been riding him hard since he assumed the lead role in the Lions offense.
Unfortunately for the Lions and those owners, the ride has hit a major detor.
Johnson was forced to leave the Lions win over the Panthers with a knee injury. He was ruled out soon after.

It was a brutal end to a great day for Johnson, who had 87 yards and a touchdown before the injury sidelined him. The good news on the injury update is he appears to have avoided a devastating injury.
#Lions RB Kerryon Johnson will have an MRI on his knee tomorrow, but the early word is that it’s a knee sprain — not an ACL tear. In the midst of an impressive rookie season, the initial tests seem to provide good news.

A knee sprain isn't great, and it can be assumed Johnson could be in danger of missing time because of it. At least he could be back for the fantasy playoffs. But don't expect him to play in Week 12.
