Free agency is in full swing across the NFL this offseason, but there are still a number of solid players available on the market. Veteran NFL cornerback Josh Norman is looking to contribute to a contending team after playing well in limited snaps with the Buffalo Bills last season.

Norman has nine years of experience and is likely motivated to show he still has some gas left in the tank. With that in mind, here are three of the most likely free agent destinations for Norman.

1. Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals just lost starting cornerback Patrick Peterson to free agency and now have a need at cornerback to address. One way they can replace him is by signing a veteran like Norman. Norman racked up at least 40 tackles and 6 passes defended in each of the six seasons prior to 2020. He would slide into a starting role alongside Robert Alford on this defense. The Cardinals are right on the edge of being a playoff team and Norman could help them sneak into the postseason by aiding that pass defense.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

While Norman likely wants to sign with a known contender at this point in his career, Philadelphia may be an option worth pursuing for him. The Eagles secondary has struggled for the last few seasons and the team is in search of someone to line up opposite Darius Slay. Signing Norman would allow him to mentor some of the young players at the position such as Avonte Maddox and K'Von Wallace. This is also a way for Norman to rack up a lot of playing time and prove to other teams he is still a reliable player.

3. Buffalo Bills

While this scenario becomes less and less likely as the offseason rolls on, Norman returning to the Bills isn't out of the question. He played well when they needed him as he racked up 24 tackles, 4 passes defended and also had a defensive touchdown in his 9 games played last season. Simply put, the Bills secondary does not have a lot of depth. By bringing back Norman on a short-term deal, the team would ensure they have a plan ready in case of injuries or poor play.
