Throughout its storied history, the Auburn Tigers football program developed a reputation as one of the most explosive running teams in college football. However, there have been plenty of great wideouts to grace the program that have been just as vital to the Tigers' success throughout the years.

With that in mind, here are the three greatest wide receivers in Auburn history.

3. Ryan Davis (2015-2018)

Ryan Davis' impact on the Auburn football program will never be forgotten. Davis finished his career just 14th all-time in receiving yards (1,555) on Auburn's career list, but he was a receptions machine in his time with Tigers. In four seasons, Davis racked up a program-best 178 receptions and set the Auburn record for most receptions (84) in a single season in his 2017 junior year.

2. Karsten Bailey (1995-1998)

The Tigers had a middling football program during the mid-to-late '90s, but one of the few bright spots for fans was the play of receiver Karsten Bailey. The 6-foot tall, 205 pound wideout was a matchup nightmare for SEC defensive backs and was nearly unstoppable in the red zone in his junior and senior seasons, leading the Tigers in touchdown receptions (14) over that span. Drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft, Bailey never made his mark at the next level. However, he did more than enough to cement his place in Auburn's history, finishing his career third all-time in receptions (150), receiving yards (2,174) and receiving touchdowns (17).

1. Terry Beasley (1969-1971)

Terry Beasley last played for the Tigers almost 50 years ago as of this writing and several great receivers have come through Auburn's football program since. However, he's easily considered one of the program's best receivers. Despite the run-heavy nature of the game during his era, the two-time All-Americans was one of the most productive receivers in college football, recording two double-digit receiving touchdown seasons (1970 and 1971). And even with the ever-evolving nature college football, Beasley still remains Auburn's all-time leader in receiving yards (2,624) and receiving touchdowns (29) to this very day.
