Friday's NBA schedule has nine games, including an exciting clash between the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are a 3-point home favorite and the over/under is set at 229.5 points.

Here's three of the best prop bets for the Hawks-Lakers game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Hawks-Laker Prop Bets

1. Malik Monk - Points: Over 16.5 (-122)

The Lakers have been on a hot streak as of late and one of the major reasons why is the play of fifth-year pro Malik Monk. The former Kentucky standout was moved into the starting lineup on December 28 and has been averaging 20.8 points per game on 55% shooting from the floor ever since. He has cashed the over on this prop in five of his last six games and draws a great matchup on Friday night. The Hawks have posted the fourth-worst defensive efficiency mark in the NBA and are giving up 111.0 points per game overall (No. 23 in NBA). Monk has proven he has what it takes to score over 16.5 points.

2. Russell Westbrook - Made Threes: Under 0.5 (+124)

Betting on Russell Westbrook not to make a single three-pointer is a risky move given it can lose on just one shot. However, the nine-time All-Star has failed to hit a shot from beyond the arc in nine of his last 13 games played. He has accepted his role as a facilitator on offense and it has been working out perfectly for the Lakers. Westbrook is only shooting 30.0% from three-point range this season on an average of 3.6 attempts per game. Simply put, getting plus odds with this prop bet gives it a ton of value.

3. First Quarter Total Points: Under 58.5 (-108)

One thing has become clear this NBA season and that is that LeBron James and company fail to get things going early when playing at home. In fact, the first quarter under has hit in 16 of the Laker's 23 games played in Los Angeles this year. They rank No. 17 in the NBA with an average of just 27.3 first quarter points per game, while the Hawks barely crack the top 10 at 28.1. A number of Hawks players are either out or questionable heading into Friday night, which could leave the team a bit empty-handed. Trust the numbers here and bet on less than 58.5 first quarter points being scored.
