Several big-name free agents have new homes for at least the 2019-20 season, but only a select few have found themselves in the perfect situation, to not only succeed, but to potentially have career-defining seasons as well.

With that in mind, here are the three NBA players who have the best fit on their new team, likely leading to fantasy basketball success next season.

3. D'Angelo Russell, Golden State Warriors

D'Angelo Russell could be in for an excellent year now that he's landed with the Golden State Warriors. The 23-year-old guard will pair up with Stephen Curry in the Dubs' backcourt, which should open up lots of scoring opportunities for him. While it remains to be seen where he'll fit with his new team once Klay Thompson returns from the torn ACL suffered during the NBA Finals, expect Russell to flourish while manning the backcourt alongside Curry for a good portion of the 2019-20 NBA season.

2. Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn Nets

Signing with Brooklyn wasn't the kind of New York homecoming some were expecting, but Kyrie Irving is in a fantastic situation with the Nets. Brooklyn head coach Kenny Atkinson has a reputation as a "point guard whisperer" and did some incredible work developing Russell into an All-Star talent last season. If he fully buys in to Atkinson's system this offseason, Irving is could be in for a career year, which is a pretty scary thought considering how dominant he's been throughout his career. And once Kevin Durant returns to the court, he'll only get better for the long haul.

1. Al Horford, Philadelphia 76ers

Al Horford is joining a team that already has a loaded frontcourt, consisting of Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris, but he's definitely going to play big minutes. The 33-year-old center is a perfect fit for Sixers' offense, which puts emphasis on unselfish play and finding the right shot. Horford, one of the league's best passing big men, should flourish in head coach Brett Brown's system, both on the offensive and defensive ends.
