The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to trade several key members from the team this offseason as a new regime takes over. Aside from quarterback Carson Wentz, tight end Zach Ertz is expected to find a new home in 2021.

ProFootballFocus has predicted a surprising landing spot for Ertz this offseason.

Zach Ertz Bills Trade Rumors

PFF sees the Buffalo Bills acquiring the tight end to bolster their top-tier passing attack in 2021. In this trade hypothetical, the Bills give up just a sixth-round pick for the eight-year veteran.

The move makes sense for Buffalo, especially at such a low cost. This Josh Allen-led offense ranked third in passing yards per game in 2020 (288.8), helping propel them to an appearance in the AFC Championship. However, the air attack fell flat against the Kansas City Chiefs, signaling a clear need for the Bills to get more reinforcements this offseason.

To make make room to absorb a cap hit like Ertz's, Buffalo can free up money by cutting wideout John Brown, and that still leaves the Bills a deadly WR duo of Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley.

Ertz posted career lows across the board in 2020, likely leading to his low trade value. But with an elite QB like Allen, the tight end should be able to bounce back next season.
