The Philadelphia Eagles didn't hold a practice on Thursday, but they released an estimated injury report anyway, indicating that Zach Ertz would not have suited up.

Ertz didn't practice on Wednesday either, and this isn't a good sign for his availability for a Week 13 matchup with the Miami Dolphins. If he can't play, Dallas Goedert's fantasy outlook would get a huge boost.

Ertz has played a huge role this season, accounting for 25 percent of the Eagles' targets and 25 percent of their air yards. Both of these market shares are good for second among tight ends on the season.

His volume has been especially impressive recently, and each of the last three weeks have seen him record at least nine receptions and at least 90 yards on at least 11 targets. In that three-game stretch he's averaged 23.6 PPR fantasy points per game.

The Eagles have been thin at wide receiver and leaning on their tight ends heavily, and that has also left room for Goedert to average 4.7 receptions and 6.3 targets per game during that same stretch. With Ertz on the shelf he would stand to see a huge increase in volume.

That volume would be especially valuable against Miami, as the Dolphins own the NFL's worst passing defense according to Football Outsiders' DVOA metric.

Ertz has reportedly played through this injury in recent weeks, so it's still too soon to assume he'll be out against Miami. Friday's practice report should give us a better idea of his status.

Accounting for him playing, Ertz checks in at TE2 with Goedert sitting at TE10 in our Week 13 PPR fantasy football rankings. if Ertz is ruled out, expect Goedert to jump significantly in the list.
