It took the Cincinnati Bengals a few weeks longer than some expected, but the offense finally erupted in Week 7. Cincinnati trounced the Atlanta Falcons thanks to an impressive 481-yard passing performance from Joe Burrow and the wideouts.

Ja'Marr Chase even called Burrow's second TD pass of the day "the best pass Burrow ever threw him."

That got head coach Zac Taylor thinking, and he actually disagreed. Instead he made a different pick for the best pass of Burrow's career.

The play dates back to the gunslinger's rookie campaign in 2020. Playing the Tennessee Titans in Week 8, Burrow lined up in shotgun formation. Boyd struggles to free of defender Chris Jackson over the middle of the field, but that didn't stop Burrow from delivering a strike.

The ball is well out of Burrow's hand before Boyd is able to turn around for a slim gap of separation, and connect on this beautiful 18-yard reception.

It's a testament to the trust Burrow has in his receivers, and the chemistry they had already begun to build just a few games into his rookie campaign.

For good measures, the clip of Chase's pick is below.
