Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase and the Cincinnati Bengals offense erupted in Week 7. The Bengals put up 35 points against an average Atlanta Falcons defense as Chase tallied 8 catches, 130 yards and 2 TDs.
This continued a string of dominant performances from the second-year wideout, who posted another 100+ yard and 2-TD performance in Week 6. Unfortunately, the Bengals superstar wideout is now dealing with an injury.
Head coach Zac Taylor explained why his reigning Rookie of the Year would be absent from Thursday's practice.
Taylor referred to the issue as "a little soreness" in his hip and the same issue Chase has dealt with for a couple of weeks now. There's no cause for immediate concern considering the young playmaker logged a duo of limited participant practices before his Week 7 explosion.
Bengals fans will want to pay close attention to Chase's status throughout the week. This was the first Bengals practice of the week because they play Monday Night Football against the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 31.
Cincinnati enters this Halloween matchup as 3.5-point road favorites, according to NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
