World Series Odds: Seven Teams in Tight Race Entering Final Month of MLB Season on FanDuel Sportsbook

The 2021 MLB season heads into its final month as teams around the league make one final push for postseason baseball. The latest World Series odds from FanDuel Sportsbook show the Los Angeles Dodgers still favored to take home their second straight championship at +270 odds, while six teams remain on their heels in the race.

In the American League, the Houston Astros are viewed as World Series favorites as they rank second in the MLB with +410 odds. Houston remains on top of the AL West standings by 5.0 games with a 78-54 overall record. Los Angeles has finally closed ground on the NL West-leading San Francisco Giants, now trailing by just 0.5 games. San Francisco holds +900 odds to win the World Series.

Based on the current standings, four teams around the league have officially been eliminated from postseason competition and more will be coming in the next few weeks. As teams fall off the board, this group of seven with leading odds could tighten up and lead to an exciting last month of baseball down the stretch.
