Wide receiver Will Fuller enters the 2021 NFL season on a new team as he signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins this past offseason. As part of a dangerous offense, Fuller has a chance to exceed expectations in fantasy football if he can stay healthy and provide consistent production.
Will Fuller Fantasy Outlook
Fuller's problem has always been availability. He is entering his sixth year in the NFL, but has yet to play all 16 games in a season and has missed a total of 10 games since the beginning of 2019. However, he has proven to be a big play waiting to happen when he is out on the field.
The former Houston Texan averages an impressive 14.9 yards per reception in his career and racked up 879 yards on 53 receptions to go along with 8 touchdowns in 11 games played last season. It's notable to point out that Fuller would've finished as a top-5 WR if he had been able to keep up that pace.
With Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback, the Dolphins seem poised to work out of a pass-heavy offense. Fuller's upside is that it doesn't take a lot of targets for him to be relevant in fantasy football. However, his downside is that he occasionally posts absolute duds that no one sees coming as well.
Fuller's average draft position (ADP) is currently 98.8 and WR49 in PPR leagues, according to FantasyPros. At that price, fantasy managers should be willing to take a chance in hopes that he can live up to his full potential. They just need to be prepared in case Fuller goes down again.
Fuller checks in as the WR40 in The Duel's 2021 fantasy football rankings.
