After the 2020 NCAA March Madness Tournament was canceled due to COVID-19 in March of 2020, it's been two years since we've seen the tournament field set.

However, thanks to an elaborate plan to host the entire 2021 NCAA Tournament in the Indianapolis greater area and other various locations around the state, March Madness is officially back this year.

Who Won the March Madness NCAA Tournament Last Year?

Going back to the last NCAA Tournament held, which was the 2019 March Madness NCAA Tournament, the No. 1 seed Virginia Cavaliers defeated the No. 3 seed Texas Tech Red Raiders, 85-77 (OT), in the 2019 National Championship game.

Who Won March Madness 2020?

Due to COVID-19, the 2020 NCAA March Madness Tournament was canceled, leaving last year as the first season without a crowned tournament champion since the NCAA Tournament's first year in 1939.
