The Chicago White Sox have weathered the storm. After a slow start to the season as the team was marred by injuries, Chicago now has the second-best record in the MLB at 26-16. And for the second week in a row, the White Sox reign supreme in ESPN's weekly power rankings.

White Sox News: First Place in ESPN MLB Power Rankings
Chicago sits atop the power rankings, right above the San Diego Padres (No. 2), Los Angeles Dodgers (No. 3) and Boston Red Sox (No. 4). Having gone 7-3 over their last 10, and 14-6 over their last 20, it's not hard to see why the White Sox are sitting in first.
The Sox have earned their spot thanks to having one of the most well-balanced rosters in baseball. Chicago has the league's second-best scoring offense, averaging 5.29 runs per game. The White Sox also have the league's fourth-best team ERA (3.28).
With two pitchers in the top six in FanDuel Sportsbook's odds to win the AL Cy Young Award, Carlos Rodon (+1500) and Lance Lynn (+1500), it's going to be tough to unseat the White Sox from the top of this list.
