The Chicago White Sox's 2021 season is off to a great start. Currently leading the AL Central with a 45-32 record, Chicago could be getting even better soon with the return of a couple players.

According to recent reports, both pitcher Michael Kopech and outfielder Billy Hamilton are nearing a return to the lineup following trips to the injured list.

Kopech's 2021 was off to a stellar start before the injury. In 14 appearances this season, he holds a 1.72 ERA and 45 strikeouts in just 31.1 innings pitched. Adding an arm like that back to the staff will be a huge boost.

Hamilton, on the other hand, returns as more of a valued depth piece in this talented outfield. After coming over from the crosstown Chicago Cubs this season, Hamilton is slashing .217/.247/.406 in 36 games this season. He's also added 10 RBIs and 5 stolen bases, so he provides some versatility both in the field and on the base paths.

The White Sox are currently heavy favorites to win the AL Central at -550 and hold the third-best odds to win the World Series at +700, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest MLB odds.
