The Chicago White Sox have not had that active of an offseason. The one significant move the team made was signing outfielder Andrew Benintendi to a five-year contract.

White Sox Offseason News

The lack of offseason moves for a team in a huge market, and coming off of an extremely disappointing season in 2022, has fans up in arms. However, White Sox GM Rick Hahn claims that the team isn't done this offseason yet.

Sure, pretty much all of the major or impactful free agents are off the board, but the trade market is still very much on the table for Chicago and Hahn indicates the White Sox will be a part of it. Hahn says the team is looking to upgrade both position players and their pitching depth.

Despite the team's struggles last season, the White Sox still have a lot of young talent and could turn things around quickly in 2023 with the right moves.

The White Sox are currently +2500 to win the 2023 World Series, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest MLB odds.
