When is Stephen Curry Coming Back for the Warriors? Latest Updates on Leg Injury

It's been nearly a month since NBA fans saw Stephen Curry draining threes and dishing out assists for the Golden State Warriors. He last played on Feb. 4 before suffering partial tears to his ligaments and a lower leg contusion.
Let's dive deeper into when Curry may rejoin his teammates.
Latest Stephen Curry Injury Update
Curry was initially given a recovery timeline of 5-to-6 weeks, but head coach Steve Kerr's latest comment makes it seem as if the two-time NBA MVP is beating that diagnosis. Curry is expected to make his return to the court at some point during the Warriors' upcoming three-game road trip.
That could be as early as Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Golden State released a statement on Wednesday saying that Curry "recently increased his on-court workload to include scrimmaging." Kerr continues to praise Curry for his hard work and states that his conditioning level is "amazing."

Golden State has found a way to stay afloat without Curry for the last 10 games, posting a 6-4 record. Getting the nine-time All-Star back will obviously be a huge boost, though, as Curry is averaging a reliable 29.4 points, 6.4 assists and 6.3 rebounds per game on a shooting percentage of 49.5%.
The Warriors currently sit fifth in the Western Conference with a 33-30 record and are within striking distance of a top-three seed with just over a month of action left to go. FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds list Golden State with the seventh-best odds to hoist the Larry O'Brien Trophy at +1500.
