Injuries have been a major thorn in the side of the Los Angeles Clippers this season. One player currently on the mend is star forward Paul George, who's been sidelined recently due to a hamstring issue.
George is making progress, though, making fans eager to know when he'll be back on the court. Here's the latest on the situation.
Latest Paul George Injury Update (Jan. 17)
George appears to be nearing a return. He's officially been upgraded to questionable for the Clippers' game on Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
This is a promising development. The All-Star's been sidelined since Jan. 6 as he tends to this hamstring problem, causing him to miss the last five games. Earning a questionable tag means he at least has a chance to suit up on Tuesday.
Even if George is ruled out against the 76ers, his return to the court appears imminent. He's reportedly been increasing his participation at practice, which is a great sign for his health.
So far, George has missed 15 of LA's 45 games this season. He's been phenomenal when healthy, averaging 23.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.1 assists per contest.
George's status warrants monitoring Tuesday night. With another game on Wednesday, the Clippers could opt to hold him out one more time before trotting him out for the tail end of a back-to-back.
