WGC-Mexico Championship Fantasy Golf Picks for 2020 Tournament

After an exciting weekend at Riviera, the PGA Tour heads south of the boarder to Mexico City for the WGC-Mexico Championship. Although Tiger Woods won't be teeing it up in this event, this is still a field loaded with top talent.
With that in mind, lets take a look at some golfers to watch out for when putting together your fantasy team this week.

Fantasy Golf Picks for WGC-Mexico Championship
Jon Rahm
Jon Rahm has had a solid start to this season. Despite not yet getting a win, he has three top-10 finishes in 2020, including a solo second at the Farmers Insurance Open. Rahm is long enough off the tee (averaging over 300 yards per drive) that it can be viewed as a strength in this high altitude, which will be a theme with all the players mentioned here. Rahm comes in ranked No. 10 in scoring average and 29th in greens in regulation percentage (GIR%), which should be aided even more by the expected boost in distance this week.
Dustin Johnson
Dustin Johnson has long been known for his ability to crush the ball of the tee, and it has helped him here in the past, winning this tournament twice, including last season. While his distance off the tee has been down this year (86th on tour), last year he hit a mammoth drive here that tallied over 390 yards. Johnson leads the tour in holes per eagle and could get plenty of opportunities to continue that here if his length off the tee resembles his 2019 performance.

Bryson DeChambeau
Bryson DeChambeau has two top-10 finishes this season, including a T-4 at the Shiners Hospitals for Children Open and a T-5 last week at the Genesis Invitational. He has been smashing the ball off the tee this season, ranking No. 5 on tour in driving distance. DeChambeau also ranks No. 7 in scoring average this season. If he can remain long off the tee, setting up closer approach shots with his wedges, he should be able to make up for his struggles with the putter.
