NFC North rivals are set to meet head-to-head in Week 6 as the Green Bay Packers travel to take on the Chicago Bears. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Packers slated as 4.5-point favorites in a game that is full of playmakers on both sides of the football.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 6 NFC North clash.
Davante Adams Fantasy
Start Davante Adams, WR, Green Bay Packers: Of course, fantasy managers rostering Davante Adams are going to start him this week. This is rather a recommendation to target him in daily fantasy market given he is in line for another massive performance. Adams has now seen double-digit targets in three straight weeks and faces a Bears' defense that is giving up the ninth-most PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs this season. Keep in mind the 28-year-old leads the league averaging 115.8 yards per game and has caught 42 passes through five games played. Chicago has also been susceptible to big plays down the field, which makes Adams the clear favorite to finish as the No. 1 WR this week.
Damien Williams Fantasy
Start Damien Williams, RB, Chicago Bears: The Bears' passing attack has been underwhelming to say the least, which makes starting anyone involved in their backfield a smart move. Damien Williams stepped in for injured starter David Montgomery last week and racked up 84 total yards on 18 touches to go along with 1 touchdown. Yes, he was out-snapped by Khalil Herbert. However, Williams saw every red zone touch by a Chicago RB and that is a major benefit in fantasy football. The veteran ball-carrier should find success in Week 6 as the Packers have posted Football Outsiders' fourth-worst rush defense DVOA metric. Williams is worth a start on Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers Fantasy
Sit Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers: It's never easy to sit the reigning MVP, but this is not a favorable matchup for Aaron Rodgers. Chicago has posted the fourth-best pass defense DVOA rating in the NFL this season and are giving up the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Rodgers ranks as the QB18 in fantasy football right now and has only thrown for over 270 yards once this season. Yes, his typical breakout game is coming at some point, but this matchup may not be the week for it. Moving Rodgers to the bench isn't a bad idea if you have other options ready to go.
Darnell Mooney Fantasy
Sit Darnell Mooney, WR, Chicago Bears: Wide receiver Darnell Mooney has shown improvement throughout the 2021 season. That doesn't mean he is an automatic start in fantasy football, though. The second-year pro has yet to score a touchdown and has seen just 1 red zone target all season. Mooney has 160 receiving yards over the last two games, but the Bears are averaging a league-low 113.2 passing yards per game. There is very little upside for him here, especially because the Packers have given up the 11th-fewest PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs so far. It's best to keep Mooney on the bench for now.
