The Cleveland Browns will look to win their third consecutive game when they go on the road to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4 NFL action. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Browns slated as slight 2.5-point favorites in a game that is sure to have fantasy football implications.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 3 showdown.
Odell Beckham Jr. Fantasy
Start Odell Becham Jr., WR, Cleveland Browns: Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.'s return from an ACL injury came along with a big performance in Week 3. The veteran playmaker racked up 87 yards on 6 receptions and led the team with 9 targets in the passing game. Beckham's average depth of target (aDOT) of 16.6 yards proves that quarterback Baker Mayfield is not afraid to target his No. 1 receiver deep down the field. The Minnesota Vikings are giving up the fourth-most PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs in 2021, which makes Beckham a perfect start candidate this week.
Kirk Cousins Fantasy
Start Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings: One of the most surprising players in fantasy football so far has to be quarterback Kirk Cousins. Cousins currently ranks as the QB6 in fantasy scoring and has thrown multiple touchdown passes in all three games this season. The Vikings' leader is completing a career-high 73.9% of his pass attempts and now faces a Browns defense that has posted the second-worst pass defense DVOA rating in the NFL. The game script this week benefits Cousins as this one is expected to be close up until the final whistle. He remains a sneaky QB1 right now.
Austin Hooper Fantasy
Sit Austin Hooper, TE, Cleveland Browns: Yes, Austin Hooper scored a touchdown in Week 3. However, he failed to break the double-digit mark in fantasy scoring for the third consecutive week. Fellow tight end David Njoku actually outsnapped Hooper in Week 3, which has to make fantasy managers wonder who the true starter is. Overall, Hooper has 10 receptions for 86 yards through three games. That is not good enough to be a starting TE in fantasy football. Keep in mind that the Vikings have yet to allow an opposing TE to score a touchdown this year. Hooper should stay on the bench this week.
KJ Osborn Fantasy
Sit KJ Osborn, WR, Minnesota Vikings: KJ Osborn is locked in as the Vikings' No 3 wide receiver, but may not see enough work to warrant being started moving forward. Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson dominated the receiving game in Week 3, racking up a combined 20 targets compared to Osborn's total of 2. Osborn faces a tough task in Week 4 going up against a defense that is giving up the sixth-fewest PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs. The 24-year-old does remain a great bench stash and someone to look out for if an injury occurs to Minnesota's top pass-catchers, though.
