There are plenty of helpful options available on the fantasy baseball waiver wire that can likely give your fantasy team the necessary production it needs to finish out Week 19 with a win.

With that in mind, here are five fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups that could make the difference for your fantasy team this weekend.

1. Francisco Mejía, C, San Diego Padres

Getting elite fantasy production out of the catcher position is a luxury that most fantasy owners don't have. However, there's a catcher available in 58 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues that could likely provide an upgrade at the position. Francisco Mejía has been absolutely raking over the last two weeks, batting .515 with two homers, eight runs scored and a 1.287 OPS across his last 33 at-bats. If he keeps it up, Mejía could be a huge difference maker down the stretch.

2. Jon Berti, 2B/3B/SS/OF, Miami Marlins

Not much is going right in Miami these days, but Jon Berti is quietly in the middle of a fantastic stretch that fantasy owners should try to capitalize on. The rookie utilityman has been is batting .341 with 11 runs scored and four stolen bases over his last 44 at-bats. Available in 89 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues, Berti should give his fantasy owners a player who can hit for average with high steals potential and exceptional position flexibility.

3. Randal Grichuk, OF, Toronto Blue Jays

A fantasy sleeper candidate heading into the 2019 season, Randal Grichuk is finally living up to his potential in recent weeks. The 28-year-old slugger has been swinging a hot bat, hitting .319 with four homers, nine RBI and an 1.049 OPS in his last 47 at-bats. Grichuk is bordering on must-add for any fantasy owner in need of outfield help and he's available in 76 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues.

4. Matt Albers, RP, Milwaukee Brewers

Thanks to Josh Hader's recent struggles, Matt Albers' fantasy stock is on the rise, at least for the short term. The 36-year-old righty has been called upon in a save situation in three of his last five appearances, successfully converting all of his opportunities. While Hader is likely to return to form sooner rather than later, fantasy owners who are desperate for saves should grab Albers in hopes he gets another save chance or two this weekend. He's available in 96 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues and should retain some future value in leagues that use holds as a scoring metric.

5. Joe Ross, SP/RP, Washington Nationals

This is stash play, so it might not help you this weekend, but it could make a huge difference next week. The Nationals' Joe Ross is seemingly overshadowed by the talent around him in Washington's rotation, but he's been producing like a top-25 fantasy pitcher over the past two weeks. The 26-year-old has been nearly unhittable over his last three starts, sporting a 3-0 record 0.50 ERA and 1.00 WHIP (18 innings pitched). Available in 82 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues and with two starts on the docket for next week, Ross is someone to consider stashing this weekend that could pay dividends in Week 20.
