Week 17 Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Buccaneers vs Jets in Fantasy Football Playoffs

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off with the New York Jets in Week 17 in what should be one of the most lopsided matchups of the week. Tampa Bay is a 13-point road favorite over New York, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Fantasy Football Playoffs Advice
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 17 showdown.
Ronald Jones Fantasy
Start Ronald Jones, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ronald Jones delivered for fantasy managers last week, though he wasn't particularly efficient. Jones turned 20 carries into just 65 rushing yards last week. He should be much more efficient against the lowly New York Jets, who have a bottom-five rush defense by DVOA. Plus, game script is likely to be in his favor as the Bucs are such heavy favorites.
Michael Carter Fantasy
Start Michael Carter, RB, New York Jets: Michael Carter made a huge impact in Week 16. He turned 19 opportunities into 124 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bucs are obviously not as easy of an opponent as the Jags, but Carter should still see enough volume to be worth a start at FLEX or RB3. And he's likely to be pretty dynamic with those touches, as he has forced the 13th-most missed tackles in the league (35), despite playing fewer snaps than everyone else ahead of him in that regard, per PFF.
Tyler Johnson Fantasy
Sit Tyler Johnson, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tyler Johnson became a semi-popular add once Chris Godwin went down with an ACL tear. Despite playing 54% of the offensive snaps, Johnson did not capitalize on that opportunity. None of Tom Brady's 30 passing attempts went his way. Johnson just isn't a fantasy-relevant option right now.
Elijah Moore Fantasy
Sit Elijah Moore, WR, New York Jets: There was some optimism around Elijah Moore's potential return to action this week. But he hasn't practiced all week and now looks like a long shot to suit up. Even if he does play, he'll be tough to trust. Tampa Bay owns the leagues fourth-best pass defense by DVOA and it's hard to see this passing attack finding any success. Moore had been great when healthy, but he's too risky to start in the fantasy championships.
