An important AFC East clash takes place in Week 16 as the Buffalo Bills square off against the New England Patriots. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Pats slated as 2.5-point favorites in what could be a low-scoring affair with an over/under set at just 43.5 points.

Fantasy Football Playoffs Advice

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 16 AFC showdown.

Gabriel Davis Fantasy

Start Gabriel Davis, WR, Buffalo Bills: Gabriel Davis' recent surge is undeniable. Davis has scored a touchdown in three straight games, carving out a clear role as one of Josh Allen's go-to targets within scoring range. With Emmanuel Sanders limited or out over the past two games, Davis is averaging 7.5 targets, 5.0 targets and 64.0 yards per contest with 3 combined TDs. Sanders' status is up in the air for this game, and Cole Beasley will be inactive due to COVID protocols. That opens up a golden opportunity for Davis to keep his recent play up.

Hunter Henry Fantasy

Start Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots: The New England Patriots' receiving corps is currently hurting, which could set up Hunter Henry for another big day. Henry has established himself as one of Mac Jones' favorite weapons, and he stepped up with 6 receptions for 77 yards and 2 TDs in Week 15. N'Keal Harry (head), Nelson Agholor (head) and Kendrick Bourne (COVID) are all dealing with ailments right now that could sideline or limit them, clearing the way for Henry to feature prominently for New England. With two 2-TD outings over the past five games, Henry has the potential to be a matchup-turning play for those willing to bet on his upside.

Josh Allen Fantasy

Sit Josh Allen, QB, Las Vegas Raiders: Proceed with caution if staring Josh Allen this week. Allen has found success against almost every defense he's faced this season, with the Pats as one glaring exception. Allen managed to throw for 145 yards and 1 TD in their snow-covered meeting earlier this season. The weather is partially to blame, but that's what this defense does on a weekly basis, holding opposing QBs to the fewest fantasy points per game at just 11.58. Allen has also struggled with turnovers lately, throwing interceptions in back-to-back games and losing a fumble against the Pats in Week 13. It's hard to bench the overall QB1 in fantasy, so just lower your expectations if rolling with Allen with this week.

Mac Jones Fantasy

Sit Mac Jones, QB, New England Patriots: It doesn't get much better for Mac Jones. He could potentially face a secondary that ranks No. 2 in Football Outsiders' pass-defense DVOA metric without several of his top pass-catchers. New England was able to protect Jones by limiting him to 3 total pass attempts the last time they faced Buffalo, but that won't likely get it done again in better weather conditions. The Bills hold opposing QBs to the second-fewest fantasy points per game, so look elsewhere if you're in need of a streaming QB in Week 16.
