The Buffalo Bills will look to get back on track after back-to-back losses when they host the Carolina Panthers in Week 15 NFL action. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Bills slates as heavy 10.5-point home favorites in a game that features some of the biggest names in fantasy football.
Fantasy Football Playoffs Advice
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 15 showdown.
Chuba Hubbard Fantasy
Start Chuba Hubbard, RB, Carolina Panthers: It's become clear over the last two weeks that the Bills may not be as tough against the run as people seem to think they are. Buffalo has allowed 359 rushing yards during that span and now rank in the middle of the pack when it comes to PPR fantasy points given up to opposing RBs. That is good news for Chuba Hubbard, who saw a team-high 10 carries last week and scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the season. Look for head coach Matt Rhule to lean on the rushing attack here and give Hubbard enough work to be worthy of a FLEX start.
Dawson Knox Fantasy
Start Dawson Knox, TE, Buffalo Bills: The Bills consistently rely on the passing attack to get the job done (38.6 pass attempts per game) and that bodes well for tight end Dawson Knox in fantasy football. The third-year pro has scored 3 touchdowns over his last three games played and is averaging a career-high 44.5 receiving yards per game. Overall, Knox ranks as the No. 4 TE in PPR fantasy scoring since Week 11 and now gets to face a Panthers' defense that allowed 61 yards to Kyle Pitts in Week 14. Fantasy managers can feel comfortable starting Knox on Sunday.
DJ Moore Fantasy
Sit DJ Moore, WR, Carolina Panthers: Wide receiver DJ Moore ended up leaving late in the Panthers' loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14 with what is being labeled as a knee injury. As a result, he is day-to-day and leaves fantasy managers in a tough spot. Even if Moore suits, up, he draws a horrible matchup against Buffalo's strong secondary. The Bills have posted the second-best pass defense DVOA rating in the NFL and are allowing the fewest PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs. Moore is a risky FLEX play at best this week and someone to keep on the bench if you have better options.
Gabriel Davis Fantasy
Sit Gabriel Davis, WR, Buffalo Bills: One of the most popular waiver wire pickups of the week is going to be wide receiver Gabriel Davis after he posted his second straight contest with a touchdown. However, that does not mean he should be automatically inserted into your lineup in a playoff matchup. Keep in mind Davis is going fighting for targets alongside Stefon Diggs and Emmanuel Sanders. The 22-year-old has topped 50 receiving yards just once this season and ranks fourth amongst Buffalo's pass-catchers in red zone targets (11). His upside is also limited against a Carolina defense that is giving up the fifth-fewest PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs.
