Week 15 Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Cardinals vs Lions in Fantasy Football Playoffs
By Larry Rupp

The Arizona Cardinals will aim to stay in the race for NFC's No. 1 seed when they take on the Detroit Lions in Week 15 NFL action. The Cardinals are slated as substantial 13.5-point road favorites in a game that is expected to get out of hand by the second half.
Fantasy Football Playoffs Advice
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 15 NFC clash.
James Conner Fantasy
Start James Conner, RB, Arizona Cardinals: The expected return of running back Chase Edmonds should not scare fantasy managers away from starting James Conner in Week 15. The former Pittsburgh standout has been a touchdown machine this year, reaching the end zone 16 times across 13 games. The Cardinals should rely heavily on their backfield in this one given they are expected to go up early with a 13.5-point spread. Overall, the Lions have posted the fourth-worst rush defense DVOA rating in the NFL and are allowing the fourth-most PPR fantasy points to opposing RBs. Start Conner with confidence on Sunday.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Fantasy
Start Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Detroit Lions: There isn't much to like about the Lions' offense right now, but rookie wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown has proven to be a reliable FLEX option. The 22-year-old has seen 12 targets in each of his last two games and turned them into 159 receiving yards to go along with 1 touchdown. The Lions will have to work through the air on Sunday if they want to be able to keep up with an Arizona offense that averages 28.2 points per game (T-No. 4 in NFL). If Detroit is down by two scores in the second half, St. Brown should be peppered with targets once again.
AJ Green Fantasy
Sit AJ Green, WR, Arizona Cardinals: Fantasy managers may look at AJ Green's performance in Week 14 (7 receptions, 102 yards) and think he is the No. 2 WR on this Cardinals' offense. While that may be the case, that doesn't mean you can trust him in a playoff matchup. The veteran pass-catcher has not scored a touchdown since Week 6 and ranks as the No. 42 WR in PPR scoring leagues. Keep in mind that the Lions are also allowing the 12th-fewest PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs. The possibility of a blowout here gives Green little upside and makes him someone to simply stash on the bench.
Jamaal Williams Fantasy
Sit Jamaal Williams, RB, Detroit Lions: Running back Jamaal Williams is likely going to make his return to the field this week after missing Detroit's last game due to a positive COVID-19 test. He isn't going to be a workhorse by any means, though. Craig Reynolds racked up 83 rushing yards on 11 carries last week and should continue to see some reps out of the backfield. The Lions can't be expected to lean on their running game if they find themselves down early on to a Cardinals' defense that has posted the 12th-best rush defense DVOA rating. Simply put, Williams should not be started.
