We're through bye week season, and that means you'll be facing even more decisions around who to play in fantasy football every week.

Who to Start in Fantasy Football

Having so many options at your disposal in the fantasy football playoffs makes it especially important to stay on the ball with the top fantasy football plays in Week 14.

If you need some help with your Week 14 lineup, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice.

Start 'Em, Sit 'Em, Week 14 Quarterbacks

Start Carson Wentz (PHI vs NYG): Carson Wentz broke out of his fantasy scoring slump with 24.4 points in Week 13. That was buoyed by a terrific matchup against the Miami Dolphins, but taking on the New York Giants in Week 14 gives him another soft matchup to exploit. The Giants are one of nine teams allowing over 20 fantasy points per game to opposing QBs, and they check in at 30th in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA rankings.

Sit Dak Prescott (DAL at CHI): At the other end of the spectrum, the Chicago Bears rank eighth against the pass and are one of eight teams holding opposing QBs to fewer than 14 fantasy points per game. Dak Prescott is having a terrific fantasy season, but this matchup gives his value a huge downgrade for the week.

Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Week 14 Running Backs

Start Benny Snell Jr. (PIT at ARI): With James Conner looking unlikely to return this week, Benny Snell should once again serve as the Pittsburgh Steelers' lead back. Averaging 18.5 carries (and 12.5 PPR fantasy points) per game as a starter in the last two games, Snell should get plenty of chances to take advantage of a matchup with the Arizona Cardinals, who have allowed the NFL's 10th-most fantasy points to running backs.

Sit Bo Scarbrough (DET at MIN): Bo Scarbrough is also getting good volume as a lead back, averaging 17.7 carries per game over the last three, but he's got a far tougher matchup on tap. The Minnesota Vikings check in at ninth against the run by DVOA metrics, holding RBs to bottom-10 fantasy numbers. Scarbrough contributes nothing as a receiver (one target and zero receptions in three games), severely limiting his value in this matchup.

Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Week 14 Wide Receivers

Start Jamison Crowder (NYJ vs MIA): Jamison Crowder has averaged 8.0 targets, 5.4 receptions and 13.2 PPR fantasy points per game in the nine contests he's played with Sam Darnold at the helm in 2019. That production already keeps him in play most weeks, but he also gets a nice boost here from a matchup with the Miami Dolphins and their league-worst pass defense DVOA ranking.

Sit Deebo Samuel (SF at NO): Deebo Samuel has continued to post solid fantasy numbers with Emmanuel Sanders back in action, but that isn't likely to be sustainable. He had 22 combined targets in Weeks 10 and 11, and that number has dropped to just six in Weeks 12 and 13. Catching just two passes in each of the last two games, his 25.1 fantasy points have come with a fair dose of luck. That kind of volume isn't likely to get him much production against the New Orleans Saints, who rank in the top 10 against the pass in 2019.
