Updated (Monday, Dec. 6, 2:55 p.m. EST): Logan Thomas' MRI revealed a bit of good news. He did not suffer a torn ACL, but will likely miss weeks of action with the knee injury.

After a six-week injury absence, Logan Thomas returned to the Washington Football Team and picked up where he left off with 6 receptions and 1 touchdown across Weeks 12 and 13.

Unfortunately, the talented tight end now has to deal with another injury. NFL sources fear that Thomas tore his ACL in Week 13, an injury that would end his season.

The injury could not come at a worse time for the WFT after their fourth straight victory in Week 12. Washington now sits at 6-6 on the year and holds the No. 6 seed in the NFC playoff picture.

Thomas will undergo further tests on Monday to confirm this potential season-ending injury, but it's been a rough year for the six-year veteran. Washington's tight end played in just four games before a hamstring injury sidelined him from Week 4-Week 11.

On the year, Thomas averages 3.6 receptions and 39.2 receiving yards, including 3 total touchdowns, in 5 games he's played at least 64% of the offensive snaps.
