The Washington Football Team has been busy adding talent on offense this season. The team has already made a few big splashes on that side of the ball, inking Ryan Fitzpatrick and Curtis Samuel to deals in free agency. And there are some rumblings that suggest even more talent could be on the way.

This latest addition isn't nearly as big as those first two, but Washington did add some depth at RB by signing Lamar Miller.

Washington Football Team News

Miller's best years are clearly behind him, but he should be able to add some depth to a group that could really use some. He missed the entire 2019 campaign with injuries, and only made one appearance in 2020, but he was very productive prior to that stretch.

From 2013-18 Miller rushed for at least 700 yards in six consecutive seasons, including two 1,000-yard campaigns in that time. Assuming he's back to full strength, he should a nice addition to this RB room.

He's also not the type of talent that threatens to take much of Antonio Gibson's workload, which is good news for those hoping for a second-year breakout from the Memphis product.

Washington currently boasts the second-best odds to win the NFC East, sitting at +280, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
