The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have come under heavy fire after losing three straight games and five of their last six. While quarterback Tom Brady has endured much of the scrutiny, no one is safe from the blame game.

Linebacker and team captain Devin White is one of the latest players to catch flak for Tampa Bay's recent skid.

Buccaneers legend and Hall of Famer Warren Sapp didn't hold back after the team's Week 8 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football, calling out White in particular. He said that he "would take the 'C' off your chest" after White failed on a critical play in the second half.

With the game tied at 10-10 in the third quarter, White appeared to take a play off on third down, enabling Lamar Jackson to extend Baltimore's drive with a 15-yard completion to Demarcus Robinson. Rather than settling for a field goal attempt, the Ravens scored a touchdown shortly thereafter to take the lead for good.

While White had a strong game overall with 10 tackles, he let the entire team down on that play and helped contribute to another Tampa Bay loss. The reigning NFC Defensive Player of the Month needed to show more effort and hustle there, especially with the game still up for grabs.

White and the Buccaneers will look to bounce back at home in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams, who are also struggling. Tampa Bay is currently listed as a 3-point favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
