The fantasy football season might be over, but that doesn't necessarily mean you have to stop playing fantasy football. If you're a real die-hard fantasy player, there are plenty of fantasy formats that run through the NFL Playoffs.

With less than a week separating the end of Week 17 and the start of the Wild Card Round, there's not much time to prepare, though. So with that in mind, here's some advice for the best fantasy picks in the NFC Wild Card Game between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints.

NFL Playoff Fantasy Football

Start Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings: Kirk Cousins hasn't delivered on the big stage yet, but statistically, this is the best year of his career. He'll have to contend with a tough Saints' defense, but New Orleans has been much more vulnerable through the air. The Saints are No. 13 in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA metric, compared to No. 5 against the run. New Orleans is also an 8-point favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and potentially playing from behind should create plenty of volume for Cousins.

Start Jared Cook, TE, New Orleans Saints: Jared Cook has been on a roll lately, and there's little reason to believe he'll slow down now – even against a tough defense. Since Week 12, Cook has posted either a touchdown or 50 receiving yards in each game, averaging 71.7 receiving yards per game during that span.

Sit Dalvin Cook, RB, Minnesota Vikings: When healthy, Dalvin Cook is one of the best plays in fantasy. Unfortunately, he has played fewer than 50 percent of the snaps in three consecutive games due to a shoulder injury. And even if Cook is back to full health, this is a tough matchup for him. A potential deficit could limit Cook's workload, and the Saints have surrendered the sixth-fewest PPR points to opposing RBs.

Sit Latavius Murray, RB, New Orleans Saints: Latavius Murray is coming off a 17-carry performance in Week 17, but it's unlikely he'll see that heavy of a workload in this one. Prior to that game, Murray had seen fewer than 10 carries in five consecutive games. With Alvin Kamara fully healthy, Murray won't be a viable fantasy option this week.
