After a string of disappointing seasons, a new head coach and plenty of new faces in uniform, the Minnesota Vikings came into this season with a lot of uncertainty, especially with a tough Week 1 matchup against the reigning NFL MVP in Aaron Rodgers and his Green Bay Packers.

Well, the game went about as good for the Vikings as anyone could have hoped. Minnesota dismantled Green Bay in every way possible. Its new high-flying offense led by head coach Kevin O'Connell brought out the most of Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson, who just might be the best wide receiver in the NFL.

Minnesota Vikings Super Bowl Odds Week 1

Prior to Week 1, the Vikings' Super Bowl odds checked in near the middle of the pack at +4000. After their impressive Week 1 victory, however, their odds instantly improved overnight, jumping all the way up to +2400 on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.

If Minnesota keeps it up, their odds will only continue to climb. Outside of the Packers, the NFC North doesn't project to have much competition. If the Vikings' offense continues to be as lethal as it looked against what was thought to be a stout Packers defense, then the rest of the league is in trouble.

Minnesota still trails Green Bay (+1300) in Super Bowl odds, but maybe not for long.
