Vikings Defensive End Makes Hilarious Joke About Northwestern Football

Ifeadi Odenigbo is heading into his second season with the Minnesota Vikings, and while his on-field performance (7.0 sacks in 2019) has endeared him to the Minnesota faithful, his off-field personality has earned him some fans too.
On Wednesday, Odenigbo took to Twitter to make a hilarious joke at the expense of his alma mater, Northwestern University.
People keep asking me “hey ifeadi is it going to be weird not playing with fans?” I tell these suckas clearly you’ve never watched an 11am Northwestern game! I was born to do this???

There's plenty of drama surrounding the upcoming NFL season as the league and players try to come to terms on what precautions need to be taken as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Players rightfully have some real concerns on that front, but some issues (like not having fans in the stands) aren't quite as contentious.
Some players end up playing in front of smaller home-field crowds when they make the jump from college to the NFL, but that certainly wasn't the case for Odenigbo, as Northwestern had an average home game attendance of just under 35 thousand in his 2016 senior season.
