The Vikings had high hopes for rookie cornerback Andrew Booth when they selected him in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. After just six games of action, Booth's rookie season has been cut short.

Andrew Booth Injury Update

Booth is set to have surgery on Monday on his knee. The decision will be made during the surgery of which specific procedure will take place. This decision will also determine how long Booth will be sidelined for. It could be the rest of the season, or it might not be that serious.

Booth has only started one game, but appeared in six, during his rookie campaign and has garnered 12 tackles in that time.

The Vikings may choose to be cautious with Booth given his age, but Minnesota is still hoping the surgery doesn't end up being worst-case scenario.

The Vikings are taking on the New York Jets in Week 13 and are a 3-point home favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
